Mixed Berry Compote

1/4 cup Strawberries (I only had frozen) 1/4 cup Blueberries (again, frozen) 1/4 cup Fresh Raspberries 1/2 cup Sugar 1 teaspoon Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice; cold Heat a saucepan over medium heat and add the berries and sugar. Raspberry Glazed Smoked Elk Steaks

Unfortunately the elk was an old bull, so the meat was tough. I had to marinate it for 7 hours in a high acid mixture to break up the tough muscle fibers.
