I wanted to do something a little different with the ground beef I had defrosted. Mongolian Beef & Noodles! It was really good with a little bit of kick. It also comes together really quickly, which is really awesome!

8 oz. Fettuccine or Linguini
2 lbs Ground Beef
2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
1 Tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
½ teaspoon Cumin
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice
1 teaspoon Garlic Chile Paste
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes
1 cup Onion; chopped
1 cup Carrot; shredded
1 cup Zucchini; shredded
3 cloves Garlic; minced
½ cup Soy Sauce
1 cup Beef Broth

- Bring a pot of liberally salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until almost al dente; about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium heat and brown the beef until no longer pink.
- Drain, then add the spices, seasonings, soy sauce, broth and vegetables. Continue to cook until the sauce has thickened before adding the pasta.
- Toss the pasta in the meat sauce until al dente; about 2 minutes.
- Enjoy!
