Montreal Pork Chops & Creamy Rice Bake

I haven’t had pork chops for a while. 😋 Time to change that! Baked Montreal Pork Chops & Creamy Rice. It’s a quick, easy recipe that doesn’t need babysitting. My favorite kind of meals!

Pork Chops:

4 large Bone-in Pork Chops

2 Tablespoons Montreal Steak Seasoning

1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Rice:

1 cup Wild Rice

1 cup Chicken Broth

¼ cup Bell Pepper; chopped

¼ cup Onion; chopped

2 cloves Garlic; minced

Salt and Pepper to taste

¼ cup Heavy Cream

¼ cup Parmesan Cheese

Add the rice ingredients, minus the cream and parmesan, to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cover, simmering for 15 minutes. Stir in the cream and cheese.

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Meanwhile, season the pork chops with the steak seasoning, paprika and garlic powder. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Sear the pork chops on both sides.

Scoop the rice into a baking dish and place the pork chops over top. Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chops reaches 145°F.

Enjoy!
