Every once in a while a delicious Tuna Sub sounds so amazing! I’m not a huge fan of mayo forward tuna salad or the super sweet version with miracle whip and sweet relish. Lemon dill is much more my jam.
- In a medium bowl, combine all of the tuna salad ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Slice the rolls in half and spread the mayo over the top halves. Scoop the tuna salad over the bottom of the rolls and sprinkle the cheese over it. Place in a toaster oven and toast until the cheese is melted and the top halves of the rolls are golden brown.
- Add the onion, tomato and lettuce over the cheese and nestle the top of the rolls over the everything.
