Egg Drop Soup

This soup is so delicious and it’s perfect for a winter day or if you’re feeling under the weather. It takes under 20 minutes to come together and there’s no need to purchase fancy ingredients.

Egg Drop Soup

Servings: 3 Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

  • 1 qt Chicken Broth
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 extra large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Water
  • 1/4 cup Green Onion; chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 Tablespoons Water

  1. Bring the broth and soy sauce to a boil. Season with salt and onion powder, the. Sprinkle in the green onion. Whisk the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water together, then add the slurry to the pot.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the egg and teaspoon water. Slowly pour the mixture into the boiling water and stir until cooked through, about 2 minutes.
  3. Enjoy!
